Mark Knight
BioHorizon Medical Inc was founded in 1997 by Mark Knight with a goal to offer a full spectrum of compression therapy products to those suffering from venous, arterial and lymphatic disorders. Mark's vision was a commitment to bridge the gap between the healthcare professional, the insurance companies and the patient by offering third party insurance billing expertise to this healthcare segment.
A biology graduate from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Mark's interest in healthcare began as an account manager at Vesta Healthcare, a specialized HME with various patient programs. He learned, first hand, the value of compression therapy and the benefit it offered to patients who suffered from these disorders. After initial study and review of the literature, he became convinced that a specialized healthcare company was needed, dedicated to meeting the needs of this patient population.
