Molnlycke Melgisorb® Ag is a highly absorbent antimicrobial alginate dressing for moderate to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds. The sustained silver release inactivates pathogens and the high fiber strength allows removal in one piece. Indication pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, trauma, venous, arterial ulcers, and post-operative wounds.

Molnlycke Melgisorb® Plus absorbs large amounts of wound exudate. When absorbing, the alginate fibers become gel-like providing a moist environment conducive to wound healing. The dressing can easily be removed by irrigating with 0.9% normal saline. Benefits of Melgisorb Plus are:  highly absorptive, does not adhere to the wound site when gelled, suitable for cavity wounds, dressing becomes gel-like on contact with exudate or solutions containing sodium ions, soft, can be cut to shape, non-sensitizing. Change when saturation is reached. Can be left in place for several days depending on wound condition. Is intended for moderately or heavily exudatng wounds such as: pressure ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, post-operative wounds, dermal lesions and other external wounds inflicted by trauma.

Molnlycke Mepilex® is a soft and highly conformable foam dressing that that absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. The Safetac technology layer seals the wound edges, preventing the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin, thus minimizing the risk of maceration. The Safetac technology ensures that the dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or surrounding skin or exposing the patietn to additional pain. Mepilex minimizes pain. Stays in place, is well suited for use under compression bandages, may be cut to suit various wound shapes, promotes patient comfort, may remain in place for several days, may be adjusted losing its adherent properties and has low potential for skin irritation or allergy. Is indicated for moderately exuding wounds, leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, under compression, graft and donor sites and traumatic wounds.

Molnlycke Mepilex® Mepilex Ag is a foam dressing for medium exuding chronic or acute wounds like venous leg ulcers or burns, where an antimicrobial action is indicated.  According to a recent international experts consensus, antimicrobial action is indicated to help reduce bioburden in infected wounds and to act as an antimicrobial barrier in wounds at high risk of infection or re-infection. Infected wounds are painful wounds that need the best of treatment. Mepilex Ag is a dressing with Safetac® Technology, and therefore proven to minimize pain and skin damage at dressing changes. Mepilex Ag is clinically proven to heal burns faster and with less pain and cost compared to silver sulfadiazine.

Molnlycke Mepilex® Lite is a thin foam dressing for low exuding acute and chronic wounds. Through Safetac® technology, Mepilex Lite minimizes pain and wound or skin damage at dressing change. Mepilex Lite is very soft and conformable. Mepilex Lite is clinically proven to significantly reduce the severity the skin reactions from radiotherapy treatment.

Molnlycke Mepilex® Border Lite is an all-in-one thin foam dressing, designed for a wide range of low exuding wounds: chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, or acute secondary healing wounds such as post-operative incisions or traumatic wounds (incl. sutured wounds). The soft, conformable dressing maintains a moist wound environment, which provides the wound with an optimal environment for healing.

Molnlycke Mepitel® may be left in place up to 14 days and reduces the necessity for frequent primary dressing changes.  It allows exudate to pass into an outer absorbent dressing. Safetac technology layer prevents the outer dressing from sticking to the wound and ensures atraumatic dressing changes and also minimizes the risk of maceration.  Does not adhere to moist wound beds but to dry tissue only. Mepitel is transparent for easy wound inspection during application and during wear.

Molnlycke Mepitel® One is a thin, transparent dressing that conforms to the shape of your wound and should be used in combination with an outer absorbent dressing. Containing the unique and patented Safetac adhesive on one side of the dressing. Prevents the outer absorbent dressing from sticking to your wound or the skin around your wound. Areas of use skin tears, blistering, lacerations, surgical wounds burns and leg and foot ulcers.

Molnlycke Mesalt® dressing is a sodium impregnated gauze that absorbs exudate and necrotic materal, and stimulates the cleansing of wounds. The combination helps facilitate the wounds natural healing process. Indications heavily draining and discharging infected wounds in the inflammatory phase, works best on deep cavity wounds, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds.

Molnlycke Normlgel® Ag is an antimicrobial hydrogel that is effective in assisting the debridement, and desloughing process in dry necrotic wounds while maintaining a moist wound environment. Normlgel AG contains an antimicrobial silver compound that creates and effective barrier to bacterial penetration. May be used for diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and trauma wounds.

Molnlycke Normigel provides a moist environment for the wound and supports autolytic debridement when needed. Provides moisture to the wound and maintains a moist environment beneficial for the wound healing process. The moist environment supports autolytic debridement and protects newly formed tissue. May be used in granulating and open wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, superficial burns (1st and 2nd degree) and open surgical wounds.

Molnlycke Mepitel® Setopress is a high compression bandage with a simple visual guide to ensure the correct level of graduated compression. High compression bandages are used in the treatment of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions requiring graduated compression of the leg.
