Hollister Hydofera Blue® provides a protective bacteriostatic cover that may help prevent infection, manage bioburden and help the body’s own immune system restore bacterial balance. Agents (Gentian Violet and Methylene Blue) are bound to the dressing to inhibit the growth of microorganisms. At the same time is maintains superior absorbency as compared to other highly absorptive dressings.

May be used under compression bandages.

Holister Restore Alginate Ag is a high absorption dressing for highly exuding wounds creating a moist wound environment conducive to healing. It is easy to use and remains intact when saturated so the dressing can be removed in one piece. Releases Silver ions in the presence of wound fluid that helps reduce infection. Cost effective because it absorbs more exudate thereby reducing the number of dressing changes.
