Kalypto Medical was established to expand the use of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) technology beyond its current reach. Existing products require patients to make accommodations in their lifestyle to achieve their physician's therapeutic goals. The Kalypto Medical development team partnered with leading wound experts around the country to design a system that delivered optimal therapy, while allowing patients freedom to live their lives as they so choose. “Helping patients heal while they go on living” is the underlying philosophy driving the employees of Kalypto Medical. They are dedicated to the needs of both the wound patient and their care-givers (physician, nurse or family member). They are continually pushing NPWT technology to achieve greater levels of portability, ease of use and patient compliance.
