Venous Insufficiency can be the result of a few different vein disorders, most commonly varicose veins or deep vein thrombosis, which is basically a blood clot. If your veins are healthy, blood is able to continuously flow from your limbs to your heart. There are actually valves inside your veins that eliminate the chance of the back flow of blood. This 4 chamber device is perfect for the treatment of primary or secondary lymphedema. This device is often used to help symptoms of venous insufficiency and the occurrence of venous stasis ulcers. It is also a preventative measure used against deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
