Bandaging, Quilted Foam Liners Products

Solaris, Caresia, Foot

Caresia is Solaris range of off-the-shelf bandage liners. They are designed for total flexibility and maximum comfort. Each is an easy-to-wear product that serves as a single-garment solution to complex bandaging protocols. These liners eliminate the need for layers of padding, foam support, etc.; the Caresia simply requires the application of bandaging to be an effective treatment for swelling problems. Caresia's boot fits snugly over the foot and lower leg. The upper part may be rolled down if compression is only needed in the foot. It is available in three sizes: small (foot length up to 25cm; ankle girth to 28cm), medium (foot length up to 30cm; ankle girth to 34cm), or large (foot length up to 35cm; ankle girth to 40cm). All Caresia products are filled with Solaris proprietary foam chips and are engineered to stimulate the proper amount of pressure and medial/lateral interstitial flow needed to treat swelling.

  • Indications/Contraindications
  • Caresia decreases the patient's stress levels, thus increasing patient compliance.
  • Solaris manipulates the insertion of foam chips to create a medial to lateral pressure differential to encourage interstitial fluid movement toward the collateral pathways.
  • Foam chips in Caresia Bandage Liners create localized tissue pressure differentials to stimulate interstitial fluid movement, prevent stagnation, and soften indurated tissue.
  • Caresia garments create localized tissue stretch, opening the initial lymphatic gaps to encourage reabsorption of interstitial fluids and particles.
